A forum member on Steve Hoffman Forums has perfectly described the very first JVC discs that appeared on the U.S. market back in the 1980s. I have the ABACAB disc mentioned on SH forum. Actually, I have several JVC copies of ABACAB and I absolutely agree with @princesskiki and their thoughts about the first JVC's ABACAB pressings for the U.S. market.

I have seen this disc very rarely on an online auction. The first JVC's copies of ABACAB comes with a barcode that includes European Vertigo catalogue numbers. Also the very first JVC's discs of ABACAB don't have dashes ("-") in the matrix number.
There's another (later) JVC pressing that disc includes dashes in the matrix number and it comes with a different barcode number.
