This topic should explain us how you became a CD collector. Here's my story.
When I bought my first Phil Collins "Face Value" CD on eBay, I never thought I'd like this kind of music. I bought "Face Value" with the other CDs from eBay. When I start listened to the album, it simply blow up my mind! There was so many emotion transmitted in the Phil's voice that I couldn't believe it. I simply liked it.
For the next few days, I have searched the eBay for other Phil Collins CDs. When I have found the last Phil Collins album that I like ("Both Sides") I decided to go through Genesis catalogue. This was somewhere around the middle 2009. At that time I didn't interest about CDs, however, I was all my life fascinated about a CD. So, when I've found all Genesis albums, after the Peter Gabriel departure, I noticed that some discs that I already have in my collection are different (i.e. different manufacturer), from other presented on sale on eBay.
Since then, I decided to collect not remastered, often forgotten old CD pressings of the favourites albums. Now, the CD collecting became the hobby. I really enjoy listen to these albums and I don't regret a pence spent on them. That's pretty much about my hobby. What's your story?
